When you are writing a paper in the American Psychological Association (APA) style, you should be following some general instructions for the formatting.
The title page, abstract, references, table(s), and figure(s) should be on their own pages.
The entire paper should be written in the past tense, in a 12-point font, double-spaced, and with one-inch margins all around.
Many of these formatting items are common with the rest of your APA paper, but remember that each institution and professor may have separate specifications for how they want your paper formatted.
